These roles requires a kind person to live with a family in the UK & help care for their children and some light household duties.

Job descriptions will vary from family to family, if successful in your application, you will receive suitably matched detailed family profiles via email for you to review and express an interest in.

The unique matching process facilitated by Heavenly Au Pairs & Nannies means you are an integral part of the matching process. You and the family get the final say in who you work with! You will meet them via Skype and only once you are happy with your chosen family is your placement confirmed and a contract is drawn up for you and your host family to sign. You will be given an established customer base that you visit and sell Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, Hot foods and fruit to on our custom made Sandwich Man trailer and Bicycles. All you need to do is visit these customers at the same time daily with a big smile and a can do attitude. There is an even bigger positive, there is no limit as to how many customers you can visit per day. Event Set up crew are required to work setting up & packing up all types of events. As part of a Pinnacle Crew you get an insider’s view of some amazing venues. The work of our crew is varied. One day you will be unloading a truck outside a hotel, the next building a structure and laying covering at Farnborough Air Show, or helping the lighting, sound or set departments set up for a show or possibly being at an F1 event or at a movie premier assisting with the big screen installations.

You will initially start on a probationary period and upon successful completion of your probation, you will be promoted to general crew. A range of options will become available to you, including attending skills courses from operating forklifts, driving 7.5 ton vehicles, rigging, first aid, health & safety, show calls to follow spot operators.

All our crew are PAYE temporary workers. This means that you are paid for the number of hours that you are booked for. During your probationary period you will start on £8.00 per hour and if you have relevant experience you may start at a higher rate. Due to the nature of the role you will work with your client for block periods of time, then have block periods of time off. As an example, during short term placements you could work anywhere from 1-4 weeks on or for permanent placements you can work 5-8 weeks on with 1-2 weeks off in between.

The role of a Trip Leader

Our trip leaders are responsible, together with their follow crew, for the day-to-day running of a Topdeck trip.  This involves:

informing passengers about Europe, including country and city introductions as well as conducting driving or walking tours;
liaising with suppliers;
managing trip expenses;
socializing with passengers and providing support where needed;
initiating group activities; and
providing ‘inside tips’ to passengers and assisting them to plan their own free time.
As a trip leader you are at times an educator, a friend, a counselor, a parent, a guidebook, an events planner and always a positive influence on the group.

Eligibility

The role of a Chef

Our chefs are responsible, together with their follow crew, for the day-to-day running of A Topdeck trip.  This involves:

  • preparing restaurant quality fare from a portable cook tent on a camping trip;
  • preparing food and assisting with service at one or more of our permanent sites around Europe;
  • maintaining and cleaning all cooking equipment;

About the CAP programme

This course focuses on childhood education in a home environment and in collective structures for children aged up to 6 years old. It includes a range of key modules split into two main categories – professional and general subjects.

The professional childcare subjects include:
– looking after the child at home
– the child’s education (collective structures)
– practical techniques/health and environment
– paid for work placements
