Job Description
Are you an experienced, multi-tasking chef who has a passion and flair for cooking? Do you have the maturity and experience to run and manage your own large kitchen and work well within a team environment?

You will need to prepare a delicious and wholesome 4-day menu, ensuring the quality of meals is to the highest standard at all times. Returning guests have all appreciated high quality delicious food in the past and will expect to do so again. Ski Weekender like using fresh, local produce whenever possible, giving chefs free rein to source and manage the best local stock within budget.

You must be used to working within a budget, organising your own time and planning your days based around meal preparation whilst at the same time working closely and at times assisting with the front of house staff and others within the team around the lodge. This is quite an autonomous role too, allowing you to impose your own flair and personality on the role.

Pay and Benefits
• Competitive salary €220 net per week + up to €50 bonus
• Transport to/from a European hub to resort at the beginning and end of the season
• A room in a shared apartment (with communal area in which to relax – not a cramped studio sleeping 6 which some companies provide)

About Employer
Ski Weekender feed up to 20 cyclists and walkers in their alpine lodge. The meals they serve include breakfast, team evening meal and a guest 3 course dinner with wine. This means that good preparation is essential in the kitchen in order for you to deliver the meals on time and enable you to make the most of your time in the French Alps.
