Summer Camp Counsellors

Length of Employment: Contracts run from 8 weeks to 12 weeks, successful applications will need to be available from mid June (at the latest) until mid August.

Working in a summer camp in the US really is one of the most rewarding, challenging, exciting and fun adventures you can go on. Once you’ve completed the free Wild Packs application form you will be contacted by one of the Wild Packs team in our Australian office. They will chat to you about your motivations to work camp, your experience with kids and your skill set. Our biggest tip is to really sell yourself in your application and make sure it is well written! The summer camp industry is a competitive one!
Pay and Benefits
• Salaries start at $1,600US (more than double the current industry standard). Salaries are set by the camp, and are determined on a number of factors including skill and childcare experience.

Wild Packs Summer Camps provide over 200 summer camps in the USA with staff from all over the globe. Their aim? To make camp accessible and affordable for all potential staff. Wild Packs do not have any registration or application fees, plus their salaries are the highest in the industry, ensuring you get a fair deal!
They will support and guide you through the application process; all of their team work for various camps in the US over the summer, so they know their stuff! Wild Packs allow you to have choice and input into what type of camp you’d feel most comfortable working at. • You must be at least 18 by June 1st 2017 and you available to work from at least mid June until around the 20th August
Wild Packs require applicants to have a proactive approach to the application procedure and a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of the campers at camp. They require applicants to listen to advice from Wild Packs and act on it. Prior to departure to camp you must keep in regular contact with Wild Packs.
